My name is Sandra and I have struggled with my weight for over 30 years and after a lot of thought, a lot of research, I decided that this would be the best option for me. I have tried everything. After documenting everything I had done, I had been on 26 different programs and had success, lost weight but just was never able to keep it off long term. This was going to give me the hope that I did not have before. The surgery was so easy. I was shocked at how quick my recovery was and I felt like the aftercare was phenomenal, that I was not just kind of given the surgery and then left to my own devices. The followup was amazing. I think that it is something that is not a personal individual decision, but I can always speak for myself but I have to say that at this point I am not even six months out, I have lost about 83 pounds. I feel fantastic and if I had to and I did not lose another pound I would go back and have this surgery every year for the rest of my life. It has changed my life that much.
